Well, its been a while...

So, happy two thousand eight, everyone. Ha, so far mines been good. Exciting concerts, going to highschool, and planning spring break are all in the near future. :) I'm excited and scared about the new year, about making and losing friends, but mostly about starting over again. I dont want to do that. Not after 8 or 9 times already.

Oh well, less complaining.

tbqh, i feel sick.

Physically ill. I was looking through these pictures on myspace of my friend Danielle, and her best friend Alyssa, and all of a sudden, i started missing my best friends.

I love my friends here, but what about them?

My amazing friends, Caitie & Cory & Kayce in OK, Dylan & Morgan and Cara in NY, Amayah and Forrest and Chandler and Danielle in CA, Kelsee in WV... Everyone. I dont know, I feel really depressed all of a sudden. If I dont see these guys soon, I may just die D:

Anywho, the concert.

To be quite honest, it was amazing. It was so much fun. Basically, Cute Is What We Aim For was first. There were bomb diggety. Then it was Plain White T's. For real, they were good. But really they were the worst out of everyone. Then, it was the Gym Class Heroes. OMG. They were so good, and I was at the very front of the mosh pit by that point. Im not even kidding, Travis McCoy winked at me. THEY WERE STUNNING. Then, it was my favorite.

Fall Out Boy.

They started with Sugar, We're Going Down. Then I forget the rest. But it was so cool. I got to crowd surf, and I was literaly two feet away from touching peter lewis kingston wentz the third. i almost killed the fan girls that were standing in front of me :D

But yeah.

Thats it.

Well, ily.

Oh my goodness.

Okay, so monday was probably the most amazing day of my life. I went to the Fall Out Boy concert (it was postponed a day, I nearly went insane!) with my friend Brittany as parental supervision, Allie, and my best friend Nicole. It was great. I feel really blessed to have been able to go, maybe I'll post more on this subject!

:)
it was amazing.

Yessss.

Okay, so I am so overly excited, its not even funny. I'm going to a Fall Out Boy concert on sunday, and I can't wait! I am so happy, I can hardly even type this.

Fall Out Boy started out as four boys being stupid and deciding, right out of high school, to make a band. It wasn't going anywhere, and that was their plan; they didn't exactly strive to be famous. They simply loved music, and wanted to express it. Patrick Stump, the lead singer, was only seventeen and finishing his senior of highschool. His mom had to drop him off at band practices, and the boys didn't think they'd ever get anywhere.

Boy. They were wrong, huh?

They're my favorite band of all time. All four of their records have been amazing and they all sound different, which is stunning for a five year old band. Patrick has the voice of an angel, Pete is... well, delicious on bass && in person, Joe is amazing on guitar, and Andy is my vegan idol :D They've all done a lot of work to help the children in Africa and give money to charity, so not only is their music wonderful, but they happen to be wonderful people as well!

I don't know, they're just amazing. I know a lot of people find them annoying and what not, and some people think they sold themselves out, but the truth is, these kids are wonderful, stunning, amazing boys and they deserve the fame they recevied for all their hard work.

OH.

And, Peter Wentz has the cutest dog I've ever seen.
I mean, come on.
Could you say no to his face?

And by that, I actually meant Hemingway, the dog. But hey.

I wouldn't exactly say no to Petey, either.

:]

Annnnnyway.

Besides, that, nothing is really going on. I miss my cousins terribley, and my friends back in California. But oh well.

HAPPY TURKEY DAY, GIRLIES.

Lots of Love from your girl, Elle <3

AUGH.

Can someone PLEASE let me know why boys are so disgustingly confusing and stupid when they're fourteen?? What happened to the sweet, cute little boy I used to play with back in the sandbox in the first grade? Or that cute kid I used to make tree forts in with during second and third? Oh yeah, it's called puberty, and honestly, it stinks like the diapers my mother used to change every so often when I was an adorable little bag of sunshine :).

Puberty, kids, is this nasty little monster that makes both boys and girls extremely unlikable. It usually strikes when the child turns twelve or thirteen, and ends (for girls, anyway) when they realize that yes, their mom did have a reason for grounding them all those years ago. It makes boys grow hair in nasty places, makes their faces explode with pimples, makes them smell rotten all the time, makes their brain shrink eighteen sizes smaller, and, of course, makes them think more things then they've ever thought before.

and you all know what I'm talking about.

So yes, we all know that a good ninety percent of these ridiculous pubecent creatures we call males stink big time, but what to do about it? Honestly, I've taken to ignoring most of them. If they want to whistle, let them whistle, but don't give them a show. If they're genuinely nice boys, then they'll ask you politely, to your face if you'd like to go out with them. If it doesn't work out, they'll call you or tell you nicely that they don't think its working out anymore.

Not listen to stupid rumors that other girls spread about them, then get someone else to break up with you for them, and THEN curse you out over myspace.

Oh. and after a few days, request that you call him after he already hung up on you three times and got his sister to tell you he wasn't there.

Yeahh. SO not nice.

But hey. What do I know, right?

Maybe we need an introduction.

Authors note: I changed the names, but the facts are straight :]

I'm a girl that lives in Phoenix, Arizona, but I grew up in Chicago for over half my life. I've lived in several different places including Morgantown, WV, Las Vegas, NV, Oakland, CA, and Denver, CO, therefore making me extremely adjustable (if I do say so myself). You can call me Elle. Basically, for the past six or seven months, I've been living with my father out here in Arizona. He's a computer software salesman by day, musician by night. My mom, who lives in Oakland, is a caterer when she's not preparing coffee at the E-Bar in Nordstroms. Ohhh, and I forgot to mention; I have a twin. It's really not as great and souped up as people make it sound, and no, you dont want one. Her name is Alice, and she's evil personified. Well, not really. She's just a little... dark and brooding, I guess you could say. She hates all things bright and beautiful, but loves anything if it comes from Japan. Oh, and she's really smart. Seriously, we're great when we work together. But that's just it: we don't. Anyway.

Like any other girl my age (or any age, for that matter), I have my ups and downs, both personality wise, and day wise. I'm normally an extremely optimistic person who rarely sees anything negatively, but, of course, that can change in a heart beat. Or less, really. It's hard to make me mad, but if I do get mad, don't expect something light. Don't get me wrong, I have a great capacity for drama. It's just.. I tend to get overly angry. Like... hit or throw something angry. But again, that's just a downside of my personality. Normally, I'm really nice, and I get along well with basically anyone and everyone. Another upside to moving around so much; you get to meet so many different people that you can handle nearly anyone & anything.

Now lets get to the people that totally make my life worth living. My three cousins, Kayce, Cory and Caitie are really honestly some of the coolest people you could ever meet. Their some of my best friends in the world, and I'd trade anything to see them more often, but they live with their mom & step dad in Oklahoma. Kayce and Cory are twins, but really, you would never guess it. Cory is seriously, like, four eleven or something, and Kayce is over six feet tall. They're thirteen years old. Caitie is fourteen years old and basically my best friend in the world. I truse her with anything and everything that goes on in my life. They're my family but they make me smile every day.

Okay then. I listen to so much music, you'd be surprised. I'm into things like Avenged Sevenfold and UnderOATH, but I also adore Fall Out Boy and Boys Like Girls. Ohhh, and the Gym Class Heroes. Lots of different genres. I'm also really mature for my age, but I can get (like any other fourteen year old on the planet) realllllly immature, especially when it comes to things like fighting with my parents to let me get mosh tickets to go see My Chemical Romance. I mean, come on mom! It's not my fault I'm short. It was your genes! D: But that battle is over. The concert was in May, and putting it simply, I lost. Boo. I heard it was great, too.

Well, that's all I'm going to write for right now. But maybe later I can share with you peoples the things that are going on in my life. As the scene kids would say:

KTHXBAI.

Life as a teenage girl

It starts out hard and slow... and ends that way, too. My years as a teenager seem to go on forever.. And slowly at that. Honestly, I just hope I survive. What with stupid boys, catty girls, strict parenting, and absurd peer pressure, how is one supposed to make it out alive and well? In this blog I'm going to write down tips for both girls my age, guys my age, and the parents of us ridiculous teenagers. Who knows, maybe this is exactly the perspective needed: that of the one going through it all.
